Process Validation & Traceability

Every HIP or PM/HIP process at OWL is subject to comprehensive traceability. Traceability is not optional – it is an integral part of our processes.

  • Incomming Goods & Batch Allocation
  • Configuration of HIP cycles

  • Temperature & Pressure Profiles

  • Assignment to batches, component groups & project identifiers
  • Test reports & micrographs on request

Test Methods & Documentation

OWL relies on validated testing processes that comply with international standards. Results are documented in verifiable reports, photographic evidence or, upon request, in English.

  • Metallographic Examinations: polished sections, micrographs
  • Mechanical Tests: hardness, tensile strength (by arrangement)
  • Density Tests: Archimedes, helium leak test (for capsules)
